Messages We Send
When you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive texts, you may receive the following types of messages from Scott Law Group (short code or local number):
- Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
- Follow-up after a free case review request
- Case status notifications (current clients only)
- Document or information requests related to your matter
- Responses to questions you initiate by texting us
Message frequency varies based on your case activity. We do not send promotional blasts or marketing messages to this list.

Opting out of texts will not affect your legal representation or any pending case review request.

- Supported by all major U.S. carriers. Carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

- Providing your mobile number and opting in to text messages is never required to obtain legal representation from Scott Law Group.
Privacy & Your Information
When you provide your mobile phone number through this page or any form on our website, Scott Law Group collects and uses that information as follows:
- What we collect: Your name, mobile phone number, and the date and time of your consent.
- How we use it: To send the text messages described above. Your number is also added to our secure case management system for communication related to your legal matter.
- Who we share it with: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share it with service providers (e.g., our SMS platform) strictly to deliver the messages you requested.
- How long we keep it: For as long as your matter is active and for the retention period required by Louisiana State Bar records rules. You may request deletion by contacting us.
