4.9 Based on 347 Google reviewsCommon questions before reaching out
Is the case review really free?
Yes. There’s no charge for the initial review or the conversation that follows. If we end up working together, we’ll walk you through our fee structure upfront — most succession and planning work is offered as a flat fee, so you’ll know the cost before we start.
How soon will you call me back?
Within one business day, every time. If you reach out over the weekend, you’ll hear from us Monday. If it’s truly urgent and you’d like us to call today, you’re welcome to pick up the phone and dial (504) 264-1057 directly.
What if my case isn’t a fit for your firm?
If we’re not the right team for your situation, we’ll tell you. Often we can point you toward another Louisiana firm that is, or explain the steps you can take on your own without hiring anyone. No sales pitch, no obligation.
What information should I have ready?
Nothing specific. A few sentences about your situation is plenty for the first conversation. If we need documents later — death certificate, will, property records — we’ll walk you through exactly what to gather and how.
Do I need to come to your office?
No — unless you want to (we do have a nice one). Most of what a Louisiana succession needs happens behind the scenes: document review, court filings, communication with the other side. We handle all of that by phone, Zoom, and email. When something needs your signature, we FedEx it to you. Most successions don’t require a court appearance at all — and when they do, we handle those ourselves as your counsel of record. Distance doesn’t limit what we can do for your case.
I don’t live in Louisiana. Can you still help?
Yes, in most cases. Louisiana estates are handled under Louisiana law, and that’s where the court filings happen — but many of our clients live out of state. We handle the Louisiana side remotely while you stay where you are. See the question above for how we handle things by phone, Zoom, email, and FedEx.
