Estate counsel on the North Shore
From our office off Ochsner Boulevard, we help families across the North Shore navigate Louisiana succession, probate, estate planning, and estate litigation. After handling thousands of Louisiana estates, there’s very little we haven’t seen — so whatever you’re facing, odds are we’ve already solved it before.
What we handle at this office
Every matter our firm takes on relates to Louisiana estates. This is all we do — we’re not attorneys who do successions, we’re Succession Attorneys. Areas we handle from this location:
- Succession & Probate — opening and closing Louisiana successions, transferring bank accounts, property, vehicles, and other assets to heirs.
- Estate Planning — wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and succession planning built around Louisiana’s forced-heirship, usufruct, and community-property rules.
- Estate Litigation — will contests, heir disputes, and challenges to a succession representative’s decisions. Resolved by negotiation, mediation, or trial — whatever the case needs.
- Wrongful Death — when a loss was caused by someone else’s negligence, we handle both the claim and the succession so the recovery reaches the right heirs.
You don’t have to come to the office
Most of what a Louisiana succession needs happens behind the scenes: document review, court filings, communication with the other side. We handle all of that by phone, Zoom, and email. When something needs your signature, we FedEx it to you. Most successions don’t require a court appearance at all — and when they do, we handle those ourselves as your counsel of record. Come to the office if you’d like to meet in person (we do have a nice one) — but you don’t have to.
Area served
Our Covington office primarily serves residents of St. Tammany Parish — including Covington, Mandeville, Slidell, Abita Springs, Madisonville, Folsom, Lacombe, and Pearl River — along with families in Tangipahoa and Washington parishes. Most cases we handle don’t require you to live nearby. We work remotely with clients across Louisiana and out-of-state heirs.
