I am a lifelong resident of New Orleans. I attended Benjamin Franklin Senior High School, graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and returned home to attend Loyola Law School. As a third-year law student, I worked as a student-practitioner in what is now known as the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice. My experience as a student-practitioner allowed me to give back to my community while developing legal skills with on-the-ground experience.

After graduating from Loyola Law School, I worked briefly for a solo practitioner who had a general civil practice. I represented a wide variety of clients in many different legal situations. Thereafter, I moved to a small firm with whom I worked for over twenty-five years. Although I have experience in family law and collections, my practice was largely focused on successions.

During my years of practice, I was exposed to a broad spectrum of legal issues that arise in succession-related matters. I enjoy working with clients and helping them through an often challenging time. I understand the complications that come with the death of a loved one and the stress of having to deal with these issues while still grieving. I know the importance of taking the time to understand a client’s unique circumstances, the personalities of the people involved, and their family dynamic, all of which play a role in the succession process.

I was hired by Scott Vicknair as an attorney working in the firm’s Succession and Estate Planning Division. I am licensed to practice law in Louisiana and am a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Administering an estate can be confusing and overwhelming. My role is to navigate clients through the succession process with the goal of making it as simple as possible.

Family has always been important to me. When I am not in the office I am spending time with my husband and our three sons, socializing with friends, volunteering, cooking, or walking our dogs.
